Character description:

Regis is a famous halfling thief in the world of Forgotten Realms.

Bilbo is, well, not quite a thief but an unusually adventerous halfling in the Lord of the Rings universe.

Uhh who are these people? I know only vaguely Bilbo it has been many years since I read Tolkien

Didn't you watch Lord Of The Rings, Death?!? I can understand if you might be unfamiliar with Regis if you haven't read any of the Forgotten Realm novels (D&D universe). But Bilbo?? He was made popular again by the movies.

I hate reading a book then haviong the mental visions destroyed by watching the movie. Sometimes they take too many liberties with the scripts.

There were a few liberty's they took with LOTR but surprisingly they stayed pretty close to the overall storyline. They HAD to take some liberty's for drama to flow properly on screen. I don't think your mental visions would be destroyed by watching this film.

Other films, I would have to whole-heartedly agree with you.

I'd love to vote on this one but I just don't know Regis so there is no basis for comparison. Bilbo was kind of a annoying char in LoTR IMO.

so... if this was a "series", what happened to the other polls? Did they get aquired by a parent company and deemed classified?

I'm doing further research into the series. I made the mistake of thinking that this crew was more familiar with the Forgotten Realms world than that they obviously aren't (as a whole). So the series will take a bit of a turn very soon.

Sit tight and don't change that channel! :)
