Geforce FX 5900 128mb vs 256mb

Have any of you guys seen any articles on the difference betwen the Geforce FX 5900 with 128mb vs with 256mb. Half the time in the reviews you can't even tell which one it is.

I did see an article but can't remember where, saying that the extra 100 bucks is not worth it. Like a 5 - 10 % improvement max. Something about the memory controller is not optimized for the 256MB. The next rev however will be much the same but with extreme optimizations for the 256MB version and so will give much better performance. I'll look around again and see if I can find that article.
