My vote is handsdown Sean Connery, the guy was just smooth and completely set the bar which no other Bond has yet to come close to. (Pierce had the look of a Bond but Sean had him beat way before he became a 00 Agent).

How can there be any argument. Sean made more than any other person for that time period playin bond because hes that damn good. I am not sure but wasnt he one of the first people who made over a million dollars for a starring role? He is the bond.. which there has never been anyone who has come close to replacing.

IMDB shows they played James Bond seven times each. I just think Roger Moore (British) plays a more convincing Bond than does Connery (Scot).

Roger Moore being british makes him a better bond? also, more? ha! Him being "tough" is a freakin joke.

Sean also was more of a ladies man, tougher and cunning.

but if there was a worst Bond it'd be Dalton (whom I didn't like) or Lazenby who I believe only made one movie. He's as Bond as Val Kilmer was Batman. (which again, he's not Michael Keaton ftw!) :D

I suppose growing up in the late 70s / early 80s when Roger Moore was the only Bond (except for Never Say Never Again in 83) probably has clouded my objectivity somewhat.
