Airsoft...

OK, so on my trip to Cali this weekend I played something they call Airsoft. Its like paintball on crack! Instead of paintballs you shoot little 2.5mm plastic bb's at each other! They have an enormous amount of guns to choose from, we had an M16, M4, MP5, Colt 45's. We played in an abandoned warehouse, was a total blast. First game, I got shot in the ear and it started gushing blood. Played through it, cause what else are you going to do? I had loaner gear, so I didn't get ear protection but I at least had eye and face! Anyway, here are just a few pics that I posted in the gallery! I'd like to get into this out here but I dunno if any of you would be interested. I know Death would and I bet ROSS would probably come too but are the rest of you going to be too chicken? :p

Plastic BB's?!?! WTH you guys thinking? You some kind of tough guy or what? ;)

Actually, that sounds awesome! I used to have BB gun wars with my neighbor friend on the farm when I was a kid. And yes, we used real BB's not those girlie plastic ones.

Yup, I think there is an outfit here just outside of Greeley that does some of that. I think the local Swat team even uses it for training. That could be just rumor though. I do know I saw some of this on the Discovery Channel a few months back. The group they where filming does realistic Special Forces type raids with them. It looks very cool.

You guys would be so messed up by me. :p But no I wouldn't do it. I'd hurt myself. Damn these bad knees. Besides it's almost too real. I have done the paintball thing but I don't think I could do the airsoft.
