SG-1 Collateral Damage: (Good Episode) A murder mystery is the factor in this episode, a type of mystery that I think every sci-fi show has done at least once or twice. The final outcome was a little different than I expected because I went for the obvious bad guy and it ended up being a bad guy that no one would have expected. This focused alot more on Mitchel with the Crighton factor left out. You see the serious side of Mitchels character and get more back ground on where he comes from. Of course he puts in a few coments at the breifing table with General Landry like O'neil would have, but for the most part you see Mitchel as who he is.

SG-A Epiphany: (Good Episode) A solo adventure for Col Shepard in a Bubble world where he ends up being trapped for 6 months. Very similar idea to the Season 3 SG-1 Episode named "A Hundred Days" when O'neil is trapped off world for 3 months. He has a good time with a beautiful woman but the asention part for the ancients was a good explanation. Basically this means anyone can asend if they were to find this place and stay here for who knows how long. Again, Dr McKay has a great line again and, Mal I am sure you loved this, The reference to Ronin and Tayla where he calls them Conan and Xena. I thought that was great. McKay is such a smart ass, he is my number #1 character on that show.

BSG Resurrection Ship, Part 2: (Outstanding Episode) this wraps up a three part story line surrounding the introduction of the Battlestar Pegasus. Cain is dead, but the identity of the killer caught me completely by supprise. I did not even see it comming or even think about the Cylon prisoner getting out and killing her. The Baltar factor again comes into play. Starbuck was going to kill her if Adama would have given the order, I think she would have done it. I am going to throw out a long shot and say that Starbuck is going to be the XO on the Pegasus at somepoint. She has already been integrated into the Pegasus Crew and she had the respect of Admiral Cain so the crew might accept it. Comander Adama is now Admiral Adama which I am sure will make even more story lines around the Pegasus as the season continues. It also makes it a little more clear that the Pegasus is going to stay around.

A great night for Sci-fi Friday.

OK, finally watched both Stargates.

SG1 - I thought it was ok. I did like the twist at the end, I too thought it was the head honcho guy that did it. But, it felt a little too "gimmicky" for me. Also, I felt the backstory of him dropping the bomb and killing that convoy was a little forced. I mean, the military is really gonna flip flop on aquiring a target like that? Eh, too many minor things like that just made this one ok for me.

SGA - Cool episode overall. One thing I didn't understand. Why wouldn't Tayla or Ronin go through to explain to Sheppard whats going on? McKay is on the case, its not like it served any real purpose for them to just stand outside and wait for McKay to get back. Anyway, I liked it even though the concept has been used before. Time dialation always rocks.

I've never seen Battlestar Galactica AND Atlantis actually TOP SG-1, it was kind of neat and unsettling.

Last night's SG-1 was one of the more "basic" plot lines that doesn't require any other means except to "further" a boring plotline with the Jaff'ar. Someone gets captured or stranded (which has been happening an awful lot as of late) and they go rescue them at the 11th hour. I mean, really come on guys what the hell is going on with your creative process? Did you hit a wall and there fore stuck on an endless loop?

Atlantis (see argument before but instead of Ben Bowder, insert Ryan Sheppard), had it been Tayla, Ronin, Weir, etc. (anyone other than Rodney) this episode would NOT have been worth watching, I mean really watching himself arguing with himself, about arguing with himself. Also, Rodney is one of the most "hated/liked" character it really is swing or miss with him which is what I like about himself, that and his arrogant, petty, bad people skills. (;))

Battlestar Galactica just recently (THIS season) has really really turned me back on to BSG, a different type of plot line that didn't drag out an ENTIRE season. Yeah, we got it the first time with Adama and Madam President, I'm finally glad they moved on, I am NOT however glad the way they "rewrote" dogma or created something new to freakin bring her ass back. The only thing I was really looking forward to was her ass dying of cancer. Sure there are other things to look forward to now but dammit I didn't ask for anything last season other than her slow agonizing death mainly because she is a Janeway/Weir type of character.

(Also last week when that Computer Tech put Weir in her place was just freakin gold!!! I loved every second of it).

Also, they killed off my favorite female character on Sci-fi night Admiral Kaane and they miracled and derailed my dreams of the death of my second lease favorite character on Sci-fi night. (First being Tayla/Ronin) Yes I see them as one character.
