SG-1 Collateral Damage: (Good Episode) A murder mystery is the factor in this episode, a type of mystery that I think every sci-fi show has done at least once or twice. The final outcome was a little different than I expected because I went for the obvious bad guy and it ended up being a bad guy that no one would have expected. This focused alot more on Mitchel with the Crighton factor left out. You see the serious side of Mitchels character and get more back ground on where he comes from. Of course he puts in a few coments at the breifing table with General Landry like O'neil would have, but for the most part you see Mitchel as who he is.
SG-A Epiphany: (Good Episode) A solo adventure for Col Shepard in a Bubble world where he ends up being trapped for 6 months. Very similar idea to the Season 3 SG-1 Episode named "A Hundred Days" when O'neil is trapped off world for 3 months. He has a good time with a beautiful woman but the asention part for the ancients was a good explanation. Basically this means anyone can asend if they were to find this place and stay here for who knows how long. Again, Dr McKay has a great line again and, Mal I am sure you loved this, The reference to Ronin and Tayla where he calls them Conan and Xena. I thought that was great. McKay is such a smart ass, he is my number #1 character on that show.
BSG Resurrection Ship, Part 2: (Outstanding Episode) this wraps up a three part story line surrounding the introduction of the Battlestar Pegasus. Cain is dead, but the identity of the killer caught me completely by supprise. I did not even see it comming or even think about the Cylon prisoner getting out and killing her. The Baltar factor again comes into play. Starbuck was going to kill her if Adama would have given the order, I think she would have done it. I am going to throw out a long shot and say that Starbuck is going to be the XO on the Pegasus at somepoint. She has already been integrated into the Pegasus Crew and she had the respect of Admiral Cain so the crew might accept it. Comander Adama is now Admiral Adama which I am sure will make even more story lines around the Pegasus as the season continues. It also makes it a little more clear that the Pegasus is going to stay around.
A great night for Sci-fi Friday.
