Ok, this is EXACTLY what I am worried about....all the new recruits to LITL and the alliance need to be informed as to what the definition of an alliance IS...this is the biggest frigging buch of CRAP I have heard in a LONG, LONG time, and I DID NOT post what I FELT like posting in response to it....but, I had to share it with you.....

...so, with regards to ZG i think that if we start farming we should do this place as a guild first on sign ups then outsiders such as alliance members can come after we are filled with the guildies that want in. I understnad that there may be non guildies that want in and have been raiding this with u for a while, but if thats the case.. have one raid with them and set up another weekly raid with the guild only. this way noone will get left out..

Yeah, no one EXCEPT the frigging alliance will be left out....we won't even MENTION how an ex-LITL member FOUNDED COI.....*grumbles*.....

We all have the exact same ability to sign up for raids and runs as everyone else. And, imho, these new people are complaining because they want to be lazy and lock everyone else out of the raid so that they don't have to actually PLAN to attend and make sure they sign up. If a raid is important to you (in a general 'you' sense) then MAKE IT A PRIORITY to check the LITL forums and SIGN UP. Don't complain because you are lazy and you want to punish people with the foresight to commit themselves early to a scheduled run.

Now, just for fun, my initial respose to the above was something like this, however, I didn't post it, I'm trying to be nice.....but, this kind of elitist attitude just pisses me the hell off.....

Ok, I happen to think that everyone has made a really good point, but I want to reiterate to new people that we are part of an ALLIANCE, and it's not just 'what we do for LITL'....the people of OOE and COI have been going to MC and ZG since the BEGINNING and have fought hard to GET our group to the point that we are at. So, in my opinion, giving preference to people only in LITL (our GUILD, as stated in two previous posts) is a slap in the face to the people of the alliance who work their butts off on a weekly basis for the betterment of the ALLIANCE and not themselves.


I dunno, maybe I'm reading into this, but it just ticked me off, and I guess I felt like venting a little.

Please excuse me if I offended anyone in my rant. I have no ill opinion of anyone in LITL, COI or OOE. In fact, I happen to respect many people in the alliance very much, and I love how a group of 'separate but equal' guilds can come together and cooperate to take down end game content like we do. I am proud of us, our alliance, and it makes me mad when what I see as an ignorant opinion threatens it.

Well isn?t that a bunch of crap! However you must understand Weeboo and Bushtucker even Strom will not let that happen. One of the reasons why I left LITL was for the same crap that is going on in that thread. I love the people in the guild. However there are a few noobs that think they can come in and have a say in anything.



There is a thread in the LITL forum talking about changing the appearance of the website because it?s boring... What kind of picky crap is that?

They obviously have no idea how much time and effort it is to get a site up and going. It took me forever to make the COI and DKP site. I know for a fact it took Strom more than 3 weeks to finish LITL?s.



I know I am taking a hiatus from WoW so my opinion is mute at this point. I do plan on coming back as soon as the season is over. I lent Stromgarde my account until I will play again.



Cyllene not to cause any drama or anything, but I do think you should say how you feel on the LITL site. If the people are bitching they need to be bitch slapped. You are lucky to be in OOE you guys have 0 to no Drama. LITL however is a Drama whore. The reason why I say that is because of the massive size of LITL and the mentality of ALL members think they have a say in the leadership of the guild.



You are 100% right the reason why the Alliance is so successful in endgame content is because of the efforts of all 3 guilds. If some ass thinks he can change that just by getting accepted into LITL he/she needs to reevaluate why they have joined the guild. I think it?s unfair for all the other people who have worked so hard to get to this place in the game.

I understand that there have been a core of u raiding it even when things would not go well and be frustrating, but some of us have put in just as many frustrating hrs in other groups in that place or others maybe have spent many frustrating hrs doin something else for ur guild. if that does not happen, and u do feel strongly enough that the core group must get first dibs, and you do go to a pts system of any type then peope who sign up as alts should also get some signifigant pts of some sort for either farming coins or whatnot. Also as far as givin coins to people who it will help as far as zandalar rep. People who are not in the core and dont make it into the run every week and have to fight to get their spot in zg will never get coins cuz they cant get the rep if they arent a regular, so i dont think thats a great idea. i think the first thing would be for me to undedrstand is this being run by our guild only or are others bein allowed in? then i could have a few more thoughts. srry to go on and on, just didnt want anyone to be able to say i didnt speak up or read th eforums :)

also if we do the thing where each person get s their loot to outfit them one at a time.. it could honestly be expansion before even the core group gets their stuff from there, this stacked with the rep/coins idea would basicly make it a wasted trip for anyone non core.

You are part of an Alliance. What part about that do you not understand? I will make sure that the Alliance stays fare and functional as long as I can still read. I have had numerous complaints about some of these comments. Please understand the functionality of the Guild/Alliance and what you signed up for before you start stepping on people?s toes.

This is my first post in OOE's forums and I'm sorry it's not under better circumstances. One of LITL's members was trolling your forums and saw this post. They immediately contacted me with concerns that one of our alliance members was trashing LITL, so here I am...

Yes - LITL used to run by committee, therefore everyone felt entitled to voicing their opinion and therefore starting drama, especially you Rehn. I find it a bit insulting for you to talk down about LITL but obviously you're due for another Weeboo beat-down!

Hop's post was a couple days after entering the guild. Therefore I'm sure he had no idea about the alliance and no forethought regarding the ramifications of his verbage. I will talk to him and the new members of LITL to make sure that they alligned with Troika's vision.

I would appreciate a private tell in game or via forums in regards to any/all indecretions with LITL. Our alliance is very important and I would hate to see that bond broken.

First of all, since I created this thread, I wanted to let you know up front that it was NOT created with the intention of 'trashing LITL' as you mentioned in your post. Instead, I was frustrated with exactly what you mentioned......the fact that new recruits to the alliance were not informed as to how our alliance works....we function as a GROUP, we do have that bond, and I was irritated to see what I felt was a thoughtless post which potentially threatened that. That's why I said what I did.

The alliance is important to me too, I would think that my actions and participation have shown that. I have not missed a major raid since I was able to attend after I reached level 60.

I would hope that nothing will be held against anyone who posted in reply to this thread, and that everyone understands the voice in which it was written.

Eeeh Weeboo you are taking my post out of context. I was not saying or implying the current state of LITL was DRAMA. I was complementing the way Cyl handled the situation. I am sorry you thought otherwise. I was using past tense here anyways.



When I talked to Hop there was no issue. It was resolved. So there was no Drama at all. Why the hell would I trash LITL? If it seems that way I am sorry. However that was not my intention.
