I need to install an actual video card in the computer I am using. It was doin ok at first(not great but ok) with the onboard video but as things progress I am feeling more and more that I need to get one. Increased the ddr3200 ram to 1g and still not getting a real stream line video. I am running an hp pavillion and dont want to blow money but something that will work well
Agp card under $200 ? I know that there are alot of different ideas on them hoping to hear yours.

geforce 6600gt baby!! It's a great card for under $200. I'm using one at home and it's been rock solid.
Check it out here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150089&CMP=OTC-pr1c3watch&ATT=Video+Cards

I agree, for under 200 bucks, you can't beat a 6600GT. They have even fallen to around 150 bucks lately. Just make sure you get AGP and not PCIe since it comes in both flavors. Check it out: http://labs.anandtech.com/search.php?q=6600gt&price=yes
(Thats much better than Dante's stupid newegg link. ;))

I wouldn't call it helping by providing one link to a vendor who has been over-priced lately. I would say that the first person to TRULY help was me by providing choices in vendor and pricing. Read to me the username in the FOURTH post... That's right, SAY MY NAME BITCH! ;)

Always Trust Dante for computer help, I did and somehow he is my friend.
Dante is all knowing even though he is LAME and does not play WoW with us anymore. Not that we need him to play WoW with us becuase he would only be cannon fodder, But having Dante play even though he is LAME would be better than having a no one at all. The fact that Dante does not play WoW with us at all, is just..... LAME!
So in conclusion, Dante appears to know alot about computer parts, but he is still....... LAME.
Dbone, Did I miss anything?

I think that about covers it. However, I disagree with the statement that Newegg is overpriced. They had the cheapest price on the 7800GT that I bought and were the same if not lower than anyone else I could find when I purchased the last PC for my friend.

They seem to be hit and miss sometimes, the last time I looked, they were overpriced on certain items. Since newegg is listed on the anand price engine, you will be able to tell for sure.
