wow, I definately know how he feels. My wife and I are getting the same way. Its funny what some people will do with the right motivation. It is amazing that people will spend and do some of the crazy things they do for a game.

Ahh Rehn! Now don't you see why I can't play world of warcraft? It's not my husband holding me back, it's my estrogen.....I hate estrogen.
Edit: Oops...forgot to read the rest of it...
Oh well...I guess I'll still blame Mr.Aiden for not letting me play WoW. :)

Nice Article Malice, I actually have gotten my wife to play, she was tired of me playing so I was like hey I got a idea why dont you play and we can then play together... haha and well now I think I may have gotten her hooked.

Yeah, it seems many women shy away from it at first, but once they try it, they are like, wait a sec...this is really fun! And Aiden, if you want to play, you should probably have him get you another account cause otherwise you'll be fighting like those two.

hah, i just got another account, signed up for it, and stuck it in front of my womans face... told her to make a lock and BLAM the magic worked... she doesn't play as much as I'd like... but she's 29 now... progress is being made :D

if your g/f fiancee or wife isn't into WoW what's her excuse? lol
Kids? Jellibean plays and has a family to take care of
Work? Darkchilde plays whenever she gets a chance
If they don't like it? how do they really know unless they've tried it So I think we should all just sit em down at the Character Creation screen and have em make a character to play.
I myself should be on the lookout for a gamer gal myself lol:D

It seems to me you can't judge a book by its cover. I've heard several stories of WoW being the first 'hardcore' game they've ever played and fell in love with it. That means any of them can be potential gamers. I agree though, a gamer gf/wife would surely cut down on the tension in the relationship when its time to game. My brother gets yelled at like 5 minutes into gaming. Such a shame...

Heh Terri would be right there with us if she didn't get motion sick.

Heh Terri would be right there with us if she didn't get motion sick.Exact same reason Mrs. Dante doesn't play. In fact, if it weren't for that she'd prolly be doing raid runs with you guys instead of me. She's more obsessive about things than I am.

Hey!! What is Durtan chopped liver? I just need some of my larger friends to help me complete some of the almost 20 dungeon and elite quests I have.

Hey!! What is Durtan chopped liver? I just need some of my larger friends to help me complete some of the almost 20 dungeon and elite quests I have.NO! But damn dude, Eredor now is starting to get epic gear! You might want to ride that wave. Or I guess until we figure out what is going to happen with DKP after Manch's post. I havn't hit LITL's site yet so I am unaware of any additional posts.

I was thinking of posting, but don't want to start it all back up again. I'm pretty sure I'll just pass the next time a pally item drops. Aloysia is only 1 point behind and Chieftin is only a point behind her. They deserve some stuff too.

This is the insanity. A system that requires people to pass because they feel bad that other people are not getting any items will never work. At some point there will be a person who gets ahead that will not be honorable like ROSS here and will not think about others and not pass. I'm done with trying to convince everyone of the flaws in the system though.

the System in itself I think is now set in stone
Point Values for certain items however are still on a trial basis until we start getting heavier items like from BWL tonight!!:D

I can't have my wife play, she tried... She has eye hand coordination issues. I had her play Kaz once so she could Somera when I fight...

very old thread, This is from October when we were FIRST starting to run as a group. The changes in the point system are working great now and there has been no complaints. Closing thread so it doesn't get derailed ;)
