OMG!!! Ok... Sony is now admitting that they weren't ready for primetime because now they are looking for correspondants (aka. beta testers) to each profession so they can provide input to the Live team so the Live team can work out issues. Isn't this what the beta test was for?!?!? Leave it to Sony to come up woth a way to find beta testers that are willing to pay for a game that isn't ready for the masses.
*ping* I just saw the light. I now understand the new business model for the gaming industry. Design a game around a popular title, hype the shit out of it, bring excited gamers into the beta test, release an unfinish product (continuing with the mega hype, of course), and watch, magically, the beta testers turn into paying customers without them losing their beta testers job title!! It's perfect!!
Now I just need to find a product worth hyping up.....
