I completely agree with BSG>SG1 as of now. Earlier in the seasons it would be a close run because they are SO different, but this past and this newest season of SG1 has been pretty weak compared to BSG. I know I'll keep watching SG1, but now the reason I watch TV on friday's is BSG, and SG1 is just a side effect :(

yeah, I'm not too sure if they could really get the full feel and effect of the cartoon in a live action. There were a ton of really strange movements that would cause havoc on the human skeleton. It would be kinda interesting to see what they come up with though (unless it ends up like that stupid rocky&bullwinkle live action where they just made them people instead of trying to make a squirrel and moose)

Edit: The movie looks kind of plain to me. The cartoon was so stylized. This movie might not do it any justice. However it is being played by Charlize Theron. So that is a plus. :headbang:

Ok... just looked at all the movie screenshots and quite frankly it looks like it's going to be dumb. I don't care if the Charlize Theron (whom I lust after and who can do no wrong in my eyes) is playing the main character. This is something that needs to stay animated. Having real actors attempt to do the things they do in the cartoon make the movie look exceedingly cheesy. The short little movie shots on that site, http://www.aeonflux.com/ only prove this.

I agree. When doing a movie that is based off of an anime series, you need to get rid of the people, and keep it anime. Not only that, but as of late, hollywood has been mass producing crappy movies. I can't even recall the last movie that I went to see in the theaters that I truely, genuinely enjoyed. (Besides sin city, I really liked that movie. Especially when Elijah Wood goes from Mr. Happy Woodland Hobbit, to mass murdering cannibal.:drool: makes me hungry.....)
Anyways! Yeah, maybe Aeon Flux the game will be decent? Any thoughts on that?

Hmm...Just read that Aeon Flux is to be released in fall 2005. Also, Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi are co-writing this movie. Don't know if you guys realize this, but they also co-wrote the movie The Tuxedo. Karyn Kusama is the director, who also did Girlfight. I don't think this is saying much for the movie. We may perhaps be looking forward to another steamy pile of crap. But let's try to stay optimistic.....
