I can't post a screen shot some lame file size setting. But Ross saw it I have no selector for smilies only Post Icons.

Why is it that Death always has problems with something? I think the problem lies in, yes I'm going to say it, USER ERROR. I'm sure your running some unsupported linux install with a new web browsing emulator that was just recompiled by some 10 year old in sweden or something. And by the way, MMORPG's are fantastically fun, a great time for gaming and socializing. Why would you be against that? You don't like to game or socialize? Hmm, I thought that's why we are here. Interesting.

Nope not user error. I think someone didn't give every one the use of jig in vbulliten. As you may know I aslo run my own website that uses, odly enough, the same forum software that Dante has graciously killed brain cells getting set up for our amusement here. BTW who is this Leeeeeerrrrrrooooooyyyyyy Jenkins and why does he have chicken????

I think I know why you're not seeing the extra smilies. The window is a pop-up and you might be blocking it. I guess I'll have to find another way to display them.

Nope on the popup blocker. But in order for me to see them I had to switch to full wsywig editor :wave:. May want to change the defaults in the admincp.

If I turn on the the wsywig mode for quick reply, the button for the smilies disappear.

Are you seeing a smilie button in the Quick Reply box? And if so, is that function not working? Also, is the smilie button in the normal Reply box working for you? I need to narrow this down so I know what to fix.

As for lame size setting, I have given a WIDE berth for file size. The current limits are 1600x1200 with a max file size of 2MB. You need to convert your screenshot to a jpg if you're not meeting those requirements. :thumbwink:

At the time the limit was 39.1k for PNG. Still is btw. My file size was about 170k and a PNG. As to the smilies thing I wasn't using the quick reply.

ok... I misunderstood you the first time you complained. ;) I thought you were referring to uploading pictures in the gallery, not the attachments piece of thread posts. I'll look into that part.

As for the smilies, I think I've worked out a solution that works for everyone... I hope. :angel:

If you need help just ask. I took mine from 2.0.5 up to 3.0.5 yeah I know 3.0.7 is altest but I'm patched up.
