$500 Upgrade

OK fellas, I am kicking around the idea of upgrading my system. However, I will be limiting myself to spend $500. I will reuse everything currently in my system. The only items I am looking to upgrade(right now) are the processor, mobo, and memory. I am interested in seeing what you would suggest for that price range.

Nforce2 board, Corsair ram and a 2100+ proc. That should all be doable under 500.

Mobo - Asus A7N8X (just bought one, VERY happy with it -- $115)

proc - 2600+ XP (very reasonable right now -- $170 if you shop right)

ram - at least PC3200 (I bought Kingston, which works great if you're not into overclocking -- $100 for two 256mb sticks *dual channel DDR, baby!!*)

With the money left over maybe get a bigger hard drive. :D

Yes, you MUST get an nforce2 chipset board. There is no other option as far as I'm concerned. I second Dante's picks.
