ALSO! Kyraath... The rumor has it you may be back around this time. Absolutely no pressure for you to show up. However... :) if you feel like you might be up to it, I'm sure everyone would love to hang out with you. We could possibly do something the Friday night before or even the Sunday after. Let us know what you think.

I have made an executive decision. We'll be in the springs this time. Calendar has been updated.

Friday night before will be the social hang out with BBQ, Beer and Rock Band. I need to know how many of you are planning on coming Friday so we can have the proper amount of food and beverage.

Ok gang, time to try and get all the little details finalized. The Friday night bash is a go. Awesomely smoked meats will be provided by Chef Malice. Beer will also be available for consuming pleasure. Massive socializing with the Mighty Kyraath will commence! Rocking out via Rock Band is a must. Saturday will be standard game day. Starting around 9:00 or when everyone wakes up/gets there. (Hangovers will be no excuse for poor scores.)

For sleep accommodations at Malice's, we have the following guests booked:
Kyraath
Dante
Cheesus
Kymnyth

Malice has a cat in case in anyone has allergies. I also have space at my house if needed however I have 2 small children and you will be woken up early. But if its needed, its available.

Follow-up questions for specific people:

Ghost - I assume you are coming down with the wife as usual and staying with her family. If not, let me know and we'll find a place for you to sleep. I am assuming you will be at Malice's Friday for the festivities too correct?

Choda - Are you still out for gaming on Saturday? If so, any chance you would be able to come hang out for the Friday night bash? You could even spend the night and head back up Sat AM if needed. Up to you.

Ragefire - Confirming that you are still on for gaming. Also, will you be joining us Friday night as well? You are more than welcome if you want too.

Fittz - Spoke to Dante, he said you were more than likely going to be there for gaming but not Friday night. Can you confirm that?

Murin - Haven't heard from you yet, Friday or Saturday work for you?

As far as gaming goes, right now we are planning on going down Friday night after work and staying with my wife's family. I should be all set to attend both Friday nights festivities and the mass carnage.

Also, wives and whomever else you want is also welcome Friday night. I'll probably have additional non gamer people here too. Some of my hockey friends and stuff. I just need some kind of number so I can get enough meat!

I think the festivities will start around 6:00ish. What time do you all plan on getting there Friday?

COD5, TF2 and maybe we'll try out AA3. I suggest firing up Steam and start the install for America's Army 3 if you haven't already. Log in and create your account.

This is going to be great! looking forward to seeing everyone. I'm going to be visiting the parentals on Thursday night so I will be coming up from the South side instead, and I can really put my arrival time whenever. When will you be able to ditch work so I can show up?

I assume we are playing the new COD5 patch? I didn't get in on the steam deal, so I need to manually patch.

I have to work on Friday, so I probably won't get done until 4:30 PM at the earliest. We'll probably be down there between 7 and 8 PM depending on traffic.

Ky - I think Malice is gonna be home all day tending the smoker so I'm sure anytime is great, but check with him to be sure.

Ghost - I'm in the same boat, COD5 haxor copy still and yes, new patch I assume as well. Get there when you can, we'll try and save some meat... :)

I will be home all day on Friday so come by any time! I have the COD5 patch, all 900 some odd MB of it downloaded but haven't patched the server yet. Was going to last minute that bitch on Friday as well.

Tables status? PC status for Kyraath? Dbone also bring ladder golf for reindeer games?

Someone bring 2 loaves of garlic bread. Also I have limited blankets available. Should be enough, but if one or two of those staying the night bring one that will guarantee a warm slumber.

Sorry I haven't let anyone know if I'm showing up or not. I just got back from Kansas where I was on temporary duty for the AF. I'm afraid I won't be making it down to the Springs this time, I'm way tired and am not up to driving or a gaming session really. Thanks for the offer and hope you boys have fun without me!!

Ya, I let my frustration get the better of me. I was waiting to respawn and running way more than getting into the action. Must learn to survive better...

I think its more about switching to the right class when its needed. Which makes it hard because then you have to learn every class. Sometimes you just need a demo man or spy to get past well set up turrets. Or a solid uber. Also having an engineer who puts up transporters can make a HUGE difference as well for those long spawns. Dbone is the master. I always ask him how to do stuff and there is little he doesn't have an opinion on!
