DVDRW data backup

I'm looking for a piece of software that will do the following...

Back up to DVD+RW disk. Format the disk before running the backup. Run the backup unattended each weekend.

I have tried Retrospect from Dantz, not stable enough.
Roxio Easy Media Creator 7, wont auto format or schedule.
Nero backup, wont format or schedule.

Any suggestions?

Step 1: Reformat the HD and install your favorite Linux distribution
Step 2: create a shell script to use dvd+rwtools to format and burn the backup
Step 3: use cron to schedule the job

See. Wasn't that simple. :P

Yes, I know how to use Google. Shush. I was hoping someone had some personal experience with a product they know works. Any company can write marketing materials that say they do all the things I need, but how would I know if it actually works or not? I don't want to downlaod and install 50 different programs just to try them. Anyway, thanks for the reply Ghosty.
