A QUEST!

Here's a quest for everyone, I'm looking for a copy of Microsoft Multilingual User Interface for XP Pro and for XP Pro Tablet PC Edition, also known as the acronym MUI. I've been looking for it for a while and found out that MS only distributes it through Select and OEM channels. Also found a small mention of it through MSDN. This software is basically an add-on to the English version of XP and 2000 that gives you a complete interface change to another language. If anyone can find this software, I'd really appreciate it. I found the Select part numbers to be F60-00019 for all versions of XP, E85-02008 for XP Pro, K46-00061 for Tablet PC Edition. Hopefully that helps us in our quest.

You guys have MSDN subscriptions at work right? Go down load it from MS. Now for the Tablet pc is that the original or 2005 editions? If it's for 2005 you're SOL as there are fullinstalls only of different languages. For the original there is only one available. 403.68M
The one for XP is 5 seperate CDs each with differing languages.
No deferentiation on type Home, Pro, etc.
Here's the language and size break downs.
Disk 1 language versions are: German, French, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. 464.57M

Disk 2 language versions are: Arabic, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese. 556.55M

Disk 3 language versions are: Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Russian and Czech. 440.55M

Disk 4 language versions are: Polish, Hungarian, Portuguese, Turkish and Greek. 443.99M

Disc 5 language versions are: Bulgarian, Estonian, Croatian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian and Thai. 197.09M

Heh, yeah disc 1, but unfortunately I don't have access to MSDN here in this department. My boss is currently looking into getting a login to it, but I'm not sure if that is going to happen.

well, I just found out from my boss that the campus does not have an MSDN subscription, and she doesn't know of any department that has one either. If you wouldn't mind grabbing Disc 1 for me, I'd really appreciate it. Oh, and I have original tablet pc edition, is there a separate disc for that or is it included in the disc 1?
