Boy, its been a long time, years now, since I've tackled a spyware/malware infestation. I would suggest running Start->Run->msconfig and do a selective startup then run hijackthis again so we can see what is reloading itself and attack it from there.

[Ghost]

It's basically just take each line entry and do a Google search on it. If it belongs to a good program, chances are good someone has it listed as such somewhere. Naturally if it comes up as a known Trojan, then just follow what they recommend. If it doesn't come up at all, then it is probably a piece of the spyware infection. Try disabling/deleting it manually, the reboot and run hijaak this again and see if something new comes up. Malice's suggestion about doing the selective startup is a good one, less stuff to try and searh through.

Yeah, you are for sure infected there. Good thing Dell installed the full McAfee suite huh? Awesome.

Anyway, I have also been out of the loop for a while. I'm sure there are other newer and greater programs out there since I last worked an infection.

You may want to give SpySweeper a chance, thats the one I used to always recommend. I think they have a free trial or something. www.webroot.com

I would run it a couple times with reboots in between so it can catch everything.

funny you should say that. I have been trying to talk Tena into letting me buy a new computer. I have been using the argument that I would be helping stimulate the economy. She is not buying it.

I have been running mcafee, spybot, adaware and malwarebytes. I have had no signs of infection for two days. I am running all four every morning for now. I hope it stays that way.
