<p><a href="http://blog.wired.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/06/09/cod4.jpg"><img title="Cod4" height="340" alt="Cod4" src="http://blog.wired.com/games/images/2008/06/09/cod4.jpg" width="600" border="0" /></a></p> <p>The fifth game in the <em>Call of Duty</em> series will be dubbed <em>Call of Duty: World at War</em>, according to the latest issue of <em>Official Xbox Magazine</em>. </p> <p>The game, which will appear on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS platforms, will feature split-screen co-op gameplay on a single machine, and online co-op for up to four players.</p> <p>Like the first three <em>Call of Duty</em> titles, the game will be set in World War II, particularly in the Pacific Theater where players will be asked to battle Japanese forces -- a first for the series that has previously focused on European battlefields.</p> <p>Specific to the Wii version of the title will be use of Nintendo's Zapper peripheral, though word on how exactly it will be utilized has yet to materialize. Call me crazy but that screenshot doesn't look like WWII. Ah, nevermind, pic is titled 'COD4'.

oooo this is the part I really wish CoD4 had in it. Setting the game on the hardest possible setting and working through it as a team is still my favorite game type lately.

As nice as it is when I manage to sneak in 1 out of 500 chance of killing cheesus or choda it's nice to play co-op against the computer.
