It's finally in!! The new RPG system for OOE.

Go and make your characters! Go and spend your silver!

I still need to finish stocking the store, but you'll notice that you can create your own shop as well to stock with your finely crafted items. Yes, crafted. This system also includes tradeskills.

A few features are:

Player vs. player
Player vs. monster
Tradeskill
Your own personal shop
Play the medieval stock market!
... and so much more!!

Now go and make yourselves a character!!

Finally!!! :P

I did notice a spelling area on one of the screens. When trying to improve a raw material and failing (maybe if you succeed too, I haven't managed to do it yet) it says "You didn't manage to improce this raw material". I assume that is supposed to be improve.

Also does the current system allow weapons and armor? It's listed in the battle selection screens, but there is none in the base shop. Does this mean we have to wait until our skills are good enough to create them?

Last question, exactly how does the system assign silver for the posts? I'm just wondering so I can properly pad my future posts for maximum silver output. :D

Here's another spelling mistake. When you succeed at improving a raw material it says "Congratulations ! You have managed to improve the quality of your raw material and his duration of 2 points !" It probably should say "... material and its duration by 2 points!"

Looking at some of the credit links it seems that some of the other sites using the system are in French. Did you have to translate all the text Dante? Or did someone elses poor english just fail every once in a while?

When you sell something: "These items have been selled." :)

When you delete something: "Theses items have been deleted"

Sorry about all the typos. This mod was written by a french guy who's english is really bad.

Just keep finding those typos and I'll get them all fixed.

I think you all will want to check out the Improve Raw Materials option in the forge. It uses the Stone Cutting skill and allows you to improve the duration on an item by a drastic amount. I turned a fairly cheesey 40 silver Diamond into a 9200 silver Diamond with a 23/1 duration just by using that skill. Check out my store to see some examples. Doing that it is real easy to get cash.
Also, in case you hadn't noticed, you can sell items right from your inventory directly for cash. That's how I came up with the figure 9200 for that diamond. That together with the edit option in the inventory will let you figure out a price for your newly created items.

Yeah, I've been working on improve raw materials also and it's totally worth it. In just 30 mining uses, then improved all i got from those 30 minings, i ended up selling everything for 42000 silver  and yeah, that really is forty two thousand

Put your money into training up the Stone Cutting skill. You still will destroy stuff, (at least I still do at level 12) but I succeed more than I fail.

wow, i just raised my stone cutting to 15 and now it improves items by 9 instead of 5 so my new record is 89000 in about 10min of clicking. highest value diamond so far is now just over 16000

Well shit, Ya see this is what makes it impossible to make a balanced game. I don't have shit for money and so they will clober the guys that don't have all the good shit. Oh well, if we figure out a way to balance this style of game for the hardcores and the non harcores we could be very rich.

That is a tough problem, Malice. With the way the mining and material improvement is, it's very easy to make ALOT of money if your willing to just sit and do a bunch of clicking. I'm open to any suggestions.
