I have a iso file that I need to convert back into a application. I have nero 6 which I am under the impression will do the conversion but I am somewhat lost on how the procedure is suppose to happen.

I thought I was suppose to tell it I wanted to Burn the image to the disc. I selected the file as a iso file and told it to burn to my cdrw. It starts the process and after ten or so minutes..it tells me that it is done. When I check the disc I am not seeing anything on it, But if I go under nero and check the disc I see the information? Im confused and a little frustrated.

Can anyone direct me? I would be grateful.

Well, couple of possibilities here.

First, make sure you are telling nero to open the image vs. just copying the iso file to a cd.

Secondly, use a CD-R if you have one. Its possible that by using the CDRW nero is formatting it in UDF or something so it can only be read by nero until the disc is closed and lame stuff like that.

If none of that works, you can always get something like Daemon Tools and just mount the iso as a virtual drive and install from there.

Good luck.

I am using cdr discs in the drive. When it copies onto the hd. it is saving it ina .nrg file.
When I use nero do I want to Burn image? I am not sure if that is the correct thing to be asking it to do.

Look at this first, instead of me trying to re-type all the steps.

also try ejecting and re-inserting the burned cd. I've seen nero do that before. Granted it was the old 5x series.
