I will watch it and see what it is like before I do anything. If it is a good story line then I won't care if the special effects are good or not.

Look at the original Star Trek back in the 60's. The effects were cheesy, at least to our standards now, but some of the story lines were absolutely awsome. Besides it is British, the accents will really make it interesting. This is not much different from that Fan made StarWars movie that was posted up here last year.

yuck. Just watched the trailor. I can look past the special effects since it's low budget fan-based but the acting looks horrible. Good story or not, if you don't have good actors then the whole mood is broken.

The Star Wars movie bites were decent because they found good actors to play the roles, except I had a big hang up with that chick playing the Jedi. She was trying to play the role as a badass but came across as bitchy.
