First impressions...

Installed last night and just played a quick game of the first map with the bots. It was the assault map. Visually, the game looks about the same as 2003. I couldnt crank everything up so it might look better at high res with high details. The best part I liked about the assault map was at the beginning, there is a flythrough with narration describing all the objectives. Very helpful, love it. Gameplay was very standard and will be a rocking good time at the next session. Look forward to trying the maps with vehicles tonight.

Din't like it that much at all. The weapons seem to be all purdy and shiny and not mean and bad like the original ones.
Would rather pay to play Planetside with REAL vehicles. :P

Played Onslaught game type last night. Holy crap this is fun. Control points, vehicles, mass carnage, it was great. This will be a definate addition to our next session.
