Ok, so I'm trying to set up the vpn to work from home. The nortel client doesn't work on XP 64 and IT service is a bunch of ass clowns that said they don't support it and never plan to. So anyway. Is there any other client that will work with the nortel routers? I have an RSA security thing too that I have to put in. Anyone, Ghost, I'm looking at you network boy.

I'm not a network boy but I play on TV. Supposedly mid '06 release date. Yes I know it's quarter 4 already.

Well, in theory any IPSEC compatible client can connect. Most software clients are for specific devices though. Usually the part where you figure out which combination of settings to use is the hard part. It is also possible that nortel does some propriatary things on their software client that other software won't be able to recreate. My suggestion is to not even try, you have maybe a 5% chance of actually making something work.

Bastards...or I guess virtual pc or something...go back to 32 bit version. How come no one has 64 bit love? ;)

Actually a bunch of companies already have 64 bit VPN clients. Nortel is just slow.
