AMD continues to impress. Releasing the Athlon64 3400+ that has the same performance as the FX-51 for almost half the price. Anandtech has a review of this new king of the hill. Also in the review we see the Newcastle core of the Athlon64 3000+ is the top in price/performance catergory. It sounds to me like Intel is slipping...

Yes so now I'm not sure which one to get. It seems waiting just a bit more would be a good idea since they are going to move to a socket 939 configuration. Perhaps waiting until they get a few of these out and some good boards to go with them.

I'm waiting for the socket 45032345 configuration. THAT's going to be the real cpu to own.
