New board features

All of you are probably noticing a few board changes recently. That's becuase I've been adding things. :)

My plan is to add a cool RPG mod into the board. I saw this on another site and it inspired me. I was just going to spring it on all of you, but the mod isn't going to be done in time before my family and I leave for a week for Christmas, so I wanted to explain the new little things that are now present.

What you'll notice now is everytime you post something you earn silver. This silver you can spend in the new shop. The OOE shop has not been stocked yet (notice the empty warehouse :wink: ). The silver will be used for a couple of other things yet to be implemented.

The RPG mod will be fun (I hope). Each of you will choose to be a particular class. You'll be able to enter an arena and fight monsters to earn experience and possibly more silver. You will be able to also challenge each other. It will be very cool.

I'll continue work on this mod after the 29th.

I noticed the extra links, but why can't i play it NOW dante. You know i'm too impatient to wait for something that i can waste my work days on. You should probably cancel your trip and get this done :wink:

hey Dante was this a mod on phpbb's site
or did you have to do alot of hacking?

it's a major hack and it was a bitch to implement.

it was fun for a few weeks and then lost its charm...
