Hey gang, I'm building a workstation for a buddy who is a professional photographer. Just wanted to run it past everyone to see if I was missing anything or if there are any suggestions.

oooo get a dual layer light scribe drive. That would be cool to do presentations with. What about a monitor and input devices?

Yeah, he needs to burn 2 dvd's at once of the photo shoots and then they also get archived on external hard drive and offsite backup. No need for a second hard drive.

He has one monitor and is getting a Dell widescreen LCD. Also has keyboard and stuff already, this is replacing an older system.

Here is the final config for those interested. We opted for the LightScribe drives and 2 320GB hard drives in a RAID 0 with 4GB of RAM. I am jealous.
