Lord of the Rings Madness Begins

Starting this Friday, theaters will be showing the extended versions of the first 2 movies up until the release of Return of the King. At least, thats what the theater here is doing. Here's the schedule, I'm sure it similar at most major theaters.
December 5 - December 11: Fellowship of the Ring Extended Version
December 12 - December 15: The Two Towers Extended Version
December 16: "Trilogy Tuesday" One single showing at 1:00 of all 3 movies. (I assume this means the new one shows at midnight as part of the package.)
December 17: Return of the King Official Release

I vote, maybe not the release weekend but another weekend, we generate an OOE sponsored outing to D&B in westminster and a viewing of RotK at the BADASS theatre right next door. This way we can all get together and do something fun AND see RotK together.

I would love to except my parents will be here that first weekend and then christmas insanity begins so I won't be available until after the first of the year. I wouldn;t be opposed to seeing it again though so maybe we should try and do something like that in January.

Yeah, after I thought about it for a while, the weekends right after the release is kinda stupid busy. I'll definitely see it pretty close to the release day, but will definitely want to see it again. We may need to wait till then to try to plan something like this.

I would love to plan this for January since I totally missed the last D&B outing.
