Just got an e-mail from the guys at Everlan. Here is a copy of it. Anyone interested? I realize it's only like a few weeks after our next session but hey.
EverLAN Gamers,
If you have not yet heard, EverLAN Winter '03 is around the corner. Wanted to give all a heads up on the date, tournaments, prizes (so far ...=) as well as a "warm up" tournament event coming up at the EverLAN Gaming Center. Registration is now OPEN! Please read the attendance agreement and get it printed, signed and taped to your forehead when you arrive!

Where : DoubleTree World Arena Hotel
When : November 8th - 9th, Registration opens at 8:00 am Saturday
How Many : Hosting up to 300+ gamers
How Much : $30 PrePay via PayPal or in person at the EverLAN Gaming Center, $35 at the door.
Tournaments :
- ATI Counter-Strike 5v5
- ATI Battlefield 1942 8v8
- ATI Unreal Tournament 2003 1v1
- Command & Conquer : Generals 2v2
- Tron 2.0 1v1
- HALO on X-Box 2v2
The Counter-Strike 5v5 tournament is featuring a $2,500 CASH First Prize, and a $1,250 CASH Second Prize. ATI will also be in the house, giving away a huge number of 9800 and 9600 series Radeon Cards to tournament winners and lucky door prize winners as well.
Monitor rentals are going to be offered by the EverLAN Gaming Center, so please watch the website for that announcement and instructions on how to rent one of the 19" Viewsonics from the EverLAN Gaming Center for the EverLAN event!
GBC Sports Radio crew will be on hand broadcasting complete live coverage of all of the tournaments, events, and general mayhem. They are bringing a huge crew this time, and we are looking forward to having them back at EverLAN! Additionally, Oswald from Silicon Ice Development will be attending and we are looking forward to hosting another round table with him to learn what is new in Game / Mod development.
