View Full Version : Tired of being broke?

Well there are a couple of things I do to usually get coin, since I hit 60 I haven't been broke.

Best places to farm: Tyr's Hand (did this alone but tried it with Lethal and we died a couple times do to lucky crits and bad pulls) but still doable. [Runecloth drops, if you have a form of CC you can take out 2 mobs at once which sometimes there are, but usually you can do it by single pulls. (They do hit harder from what I remember)

My favorite place so far is Uther's Crypt in Sorrow Hill, there is a crypt next to Uther's Grave that everyone seems to overlook. Kelian showed me this when I was level 43 and was dying everytime I went down there as my paladin but at 60 I was killing six at a time with little risk. Mages want to be careful and warriors, aggro radius is high due to the fact that six-twelve mobs lie within close range. Once you commit down a corridor STAY IN THAT CORRIDOR, right or left...don't go middle or both. Kill runners. (They drop lots of the mid-high blues and GREAT for BoE drops because they have LOW health and FAST respawns, don't be idle. You might find yourself in a quick 5-6 respawns on you, be ready and alert. Not for the casual farmer, if you want an easier job just farm up in the Graveyard but you'll be competing for scourgestone farmers.)

*** This is my FAVORITE spot. There is currently a bug in the Altar of Storms where the mobs who drop weapons (Like the Glowing Brightwood Staff and other BoE weapons) will actually have their default weapon REPLACED with said weapon!. So if you see lots of spears being wield (which that's most of it) and you see a glowing staff or knife, kill that mob. Odds are in your favor when you can pick the mobs with "special" loot.*** (It does work, not sure when they'll fix this, I've made 2k gold now on this alone.)

If you have decent gear, another great place is Silithis. *yes of course mike, everyone knows that* but what you didn't know is the NW part of the map contains elementals that drop their respective drops. Earth and Air (essences, cores, elements.) Great for farming, do it right you won't have to fight more than one mob, you can always take on 2-3 at a time and depending on your class you should have an advantage over one or the other. (Earth - melee type/ Air - caster type). (Air lesser health more burst damage with an AoE that you can easily avoid/ Earth LOTS more armor/little more health/steady physical damage (does crit and stun))

*written in 5 minutes, hope you like it, should save you guys some trouble*
