What's the game about: Taking a crap-ton of heroes from the massive Marvel universe and letting them action-RPG through as many Marvel villains as possible with as much style as can be smashed into a game is an excellent idea. Raven isn't just taking its X-Men Legends experience and calling it a night, either, changing up its gameplay for the better and moving into the next-generation platforms with a graphical bang!
What's new for E3: Thor, Ghost Rider, Spider-man, Wolverine, Captain America, Doctor Strange, and the Thing all got to show their stuff on the PS3 hardware, fighting through Marvel standbys like a Skrull world, sunken Atlantis (breathing through nanotechnology, of course), and a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier. Each of the characters have unique fighting techniques and powers that give the player options like dictating exactly where Captain America's shield goes as it flies, or sending Spider-Man zipping around the map on his webbing.
