Gamers rejoice! AMD has released the 64-bit processor that's targeted for gamers and enthusiasts! None to soon, either, since Intel announced their new version of the Pentium 4 'Extreme Edition' with 2mb of cache on the die.
Check out this review (http://www.hothardware.com/hh_files/CCAM/a64fx_51_launch.shtml) that HotHardware.com ran. They put it through it's paces.
Alot of the gaming scores seem tad disappointing, but after reading the article the lower score are due to the beta Detonator drivers. I can't wait to see how well this processor does with all the final 64-bit drivers in place!
